The Centre aims to provide a procedure for dropping off and picking up children which is clear and ensures the safety and wellbeing of the children in care. Parents are required to follow specific communication procedures to ensure appropriate care of their children is provided.

Parents must sign in/sign out their child/children on the daily attendance register each session.

All children attending need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. The sign in sheet is located on the front desk. No responsibility will be taken for children that are not signed in.

When you collect your child/ren you need to sign and note the departure time on the sign out sheet. Children need to be collected by a responsible adult that is documented as a collection person on your enrolment form. Children will not be allowed to leave with anyone that is not noted on the enrolment form.

Children must be collected by 6pm each day or a late fee will be charged after closure at the rate of $1.00 per minute per child. Late fees must be paid within two weeks.

Parents should phone the centre if unavoidably detained to specify what alternate arrangements should be made. If by 6.10 pm the child has not been collected, the nominated emergency contact will be phoned. If no arrangements can be made, the Department of Community Services will be contacted to discuss the child’s care for the evening.
